I’ve been playing about and it now works…

In rare occasion when a packages are submitted to cydia via repo’s they become corrupted. This subsequently causes Cydia to crash each time you use it. Here’s how to fix that issue…
Your going to have to either SSH into your iPhone or use iPhoneBrowser.

Make your way to: /private/var/lib/apt/listsfound out today that if you have ZodTTD repo then your Cydia might be crashing. Here’s how to fix the problem!

Seems that the issue was a corrupted file on ZodTTD’s repo. If you dont have ZodTTD’s repo then your probably not experiencing any issues.

if u Do

First off you will need to SSH into your device and navigate to /var/lib/apt/lists/ .
Delete the 3 x zodttd files and then Navigate to /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d Delete the zodttd file.

  • Delete cydia.zodttd-1.com_repo_cydia_dists_stable_main_binary-iphoneos-arm_Packages.
  • Install the new update to cydia to fix this.
Alternatively, if you have apt7 installed, you may simply run the following code

apt-get update

Now open cydia but hit cancel while it’s refreshing, then go to manage pksgs and remove the ZodTTD repo so it wont happen again..

You forgot to mention that the “apt-get update” should be entered into mobileterminal.app & also details on exactly how to re-install the ZodTTD repo without the crash log 😛
